Discover study opportunities in Latvia at the European Higher Education Fair 2025! 


Study in Latvia will be participating in the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2025, taking place on June 14–15 in Japan. This event is designed to give Japanese students valuable insights into the diverse and high-quality study opportunities available across Europe. Study in Latvia will be represented by the Embassy of Latvia in Japan, together with two Latvian universities: Riga Technical University and University of Latvia.


Organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, EHEF 2025 will bring together representatives from national education agencies, embassies, and leading European universities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore thousands of internationally recognised Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes, many of which are offered in English or other European languages.


Visit Study in Latvia booth and discover why Latvia is an excellent destination for international students. Learn about:

  • Degree programmes taught in English across various disciplines
  • Government scholarships available to international students, including Japanese citizens
  • Summer schools and cultural exchange opportunities


Latvian Government Scholarships for international students:

  • €500/month for Bachelor's students (and 2nd-level professional higher education students in their 1st–3rd year)
  • €600/month for Master's students (and 2nd-level professional students from their 4th year)
  • €700/month for PhD students


The fairs are going to be held in:

1. Tokyo - Saturday 14th June, 12:00-18:00,

In addition, learn about the European Union's (EU) Study Abroad Support Programme "Erasmus Plus", which provides scholarships for international students participating in joint master's degree programmes and short-term study abroad programmes.
