Study programme description		The program prepares specialists of middle link of management taking into account European approach in a conduct and organization of business. Graduating program students get the volume of knowledge, skills and abilities which provide possibility of creation of business, or give possibility to work successfully or manage departments and services of enterprise structures in the spheres of finances, commerce, tourism, insurance, IT of technologies. Main courses: Microeconomics; professional Latvian language; professional English language; logics; law; macroeconomics; accounting theory; sociology; social psychology; philosophy; economic of entrepreneurship; management theory; marketing; computer science, financial book-keeping; managing registration; financial analysis; organization of account-department; audit; international standards of audit; taxes and taxation; financial risks; European labor law; management of investments; prices and price formation; transactions of commercial banks; security market; foreign tax systems; world economic; financial management, ethics of business; business correspondence; rhetoric; valuation of firm etc.

Baltic International Academy (till 2006 - Baltic Russian Institute) is the largest non-government higher education establishment in the Baltic States and Eastern European countries (it was established in 1992) with 7,500 students, including 450 foreign students from 15 countries worldwide.

BIA offer the higher professional education of the first and second levels (duration of studies is 2-2,5 years and 4-4,5 years); academic and professional Bachelor programme (duration of studies – 2-2,5 and 4-4,5 years), as well as professional and academic Master programme and Doctoral studies.
