Study arrangementsDuring studies international students join groups of local students that follow the study program in English.
Fees6000 EUR per year. Students from the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) are entitled to scholarships or tuition fee waivers reducing the yearly tuition fee to EUR 3,500.
 
Study programme descriptionThe programme is designed to provide undergraduates with broad knowledge in economics and business. The subject range is interesting both for mathematically-inclined students, students interested in finance or accountancy, or students with entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to academic credentials, students learn to work in project teams, visit companies to gain practical insights and do applied research, acquire negotiation and public speaking skills, and therefore acquire interpersonal communication skills as well.
The Programme is run on a modular basis, i.e. only 1-2 core courses are delivered at the same time, and it allows students to concentrate on one subject at a time.
Students who pass all core courses, a few elective courses, two internships and the Bachelor Thesis are awarded the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
Having completed the programme, SSE Riga graduates possess excellent powers of analysis and critical thinking, and rational argumentation skills, and are both entrepreneurial and professional. Graduates are recognised and sough-after in the labour market in the Baltics, Europe and worldwide

Requirements1. Upper secondary education completed by July 2013 or earlier
2. Minimum grades in Mathematics and English: 7 on a scale of 10, or equivalent on a comparable scale.
3. State examination results in Mathematics and English are required for candidates who will complete secondary education in 2013 in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.
