Study arrangements		During studies international students join groups of local students that follow the study program in English.
Fees		6000 EUR per year. Students from the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) are entitled to scholarships or tuition fee waivers reducing the yearly tuition fee to EUR 3,500.

Study programme description		The programme is designed to provide undergraduates with broad knowledge in economics and business. The subject range is interesting both for mathematically-inclined students, students interested in finance or accountancy, or students with entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to academic credentials, students learn to work in project teams, visit companies to gain practical insights and do applied research, acquire negotiation and public speaking skills, and therefore acquire interpersonal communication skills as well. The Programme is run on a modular basis, i.e. only 1-2 core courses are delivered at the same time, and it allows students to concentrate on one subject at a time. Students who pass all core courses, a few elective courses, two internships and the Bachelor Thesis are awarded the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Having completed the programme, SSE Riga graduates possess excellent powers of analysis and critical thinking, and rational argumentation skills, and are both entrepreneurial and professional. Graduates are recognised and sough-after in the labour market in the Baltics, Europe and worldwide

Requirements		1. Upper secondary education completed by July 2013 or earlier 2. Minimum grades in Mathematics and English: 7 on a scale of 10, or equivalent on a comparable scale. 3. State examination results in Mathematics and English are required for candidates who will complete secondary education in 2013 in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.

The mission of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga has since its inception in 1994 been to provide a state-of-the-art education in business and economics that contributes to the economic and social development of the region, in particular Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Today this is done through two degree programmes – the original B.Sc. programme and since 2002 also through the SSE Riga Executive MBA programme – as well as through various executive education activities. The mission also includes research, and SSE Riga should produce state-of-the-art research of relevance to the Baltic countries and the school should actively participate and foster public debate in its fields of competence.

SSE Riga has, since 2006, appeared in the Financial Times Ranking of European Business Schools. The School is ranked together with its 'mother', the Stockholm School of Economics, and its 'sister' , the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia (SSE Russia). Accommodation possibilities and costs: SSE Riga can offer a place in the school’s dormitory: twin rooms with two residence units (two single beds) and triple rooms with three residence units (three single beds) can be offered.
