|Study programme description||The aim of the programme is to offer state-of-the-art education in business and economics contributing to the economic and social development of the region.
Studies are organised in the form of lectures and seminars. In nearly every slubject there are assignments, reports or project works to be done in groups or individually. Main study courses offered include Economics, Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. The study course allows students to get a wider perspective and have more career options after graduation. At the beginning of the final year of studies, students should choose two out of four specialisation courses offered. Students in this programme acquire knowledge of economics and business. Apart from academic knowledge students obtain the skills of working in project teams.
The graduates of this programme are employed in a wide range of sectors, including finance, banking, real estate, auditing and consulting, IT and telecommunications, advertising and media, government, manufacturing and construction, and education and research. A number of graduates become entrepreneurs: some of them practice entrepreneurship as students while others join the corporate world first and then start their own business.

|Requirements||A secondary school education completed by July 2018 or earlier.
Minimum grades in Mathematics and English: 7 on a scale of 10, or equivalent on a comparable scale.
State examination results in Mathematics and English are required for candidates who will complete secondary education in 2018 in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.
The mission of the SSE in Riga has since its inception in 1994 been to provide a state-of-the-art education in business and economics that contributes to the economic and social development of the region, in particular Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Today this is done through two degree programmes – the original B.Sc. programme and since 2002 also through the SSE Riga Executive MBA programme – as well as through various executive education activities. The mission also includes research, and SSE Riga should produce state-of-the-art research of relevance to the Baltic countries and the school should actively participate and foster public debate in its fields of competence.
SSE Riga has, since 2006, appeared in the Financial Times Ranking of European Business Schools. The School is ranked together with its 'mother', the Stockholm School of Economics, and its 'sister' , the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia (SSE Russia). SSE Riga has been recognized as the best economics and business school in the Baltic's.

Accommodation possibilities and costs: Students are encouraged to take advantage of the SSE Riga Student Residence Hall to facilitate their integration in the student community. SSE Riga offers newly renovated accommodation that is safe and secure, where students can sleep and study in comfort.
SSE Riga can offer twin rooms with two residence units (two single beds), and triple rooms with three residence units (three single beds) are also available. Students can use a common room on each floor for studies, and there is wireless internet and kitchen facilities.
The dormitories are situated about 20 minutes by bus from SSE Riga. The price ranges from 100 - 140 EUR per month.
