Study programme description		The aim of the programme is to prepare academically educated and professionally qualified doctors, who can provide the society with a high level of modern medical care. Studies are organised in lectures, seminars, practical work, laboratory work, clinical practice, discussion groups and analysis of situations. Main courses offered include: Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology Radiology, Pharmacology, and Internal Medicine. Students in this programme acquire the knowledge and skills in clinical medicine. As an outcome students are able to analyse processes related to human health and use advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment and modern medical technologies to improve human health. The acquisition of practical skills is facilitated and ensured by using real-life simulations at the RSU Medical Education Technology Centre. The graduates of this programme are usually employed in health care institutions and education and research establishments. The diploma of RSU is recognised within the European Union.

Requirements		Minimum age - 18. Maximum age is not limited. All international applicants are expected to have completed their upper secondary education including 2 semesters of Biology or Chemistry, preferably also Physics or Mathematics and must possess university eligibility in their home country.
