Study programme description | The programme combines language and business studies and aims at preparing students for international careers in enterprises and institutions operating in local and international labour market. It offers a choice between three language modules: English-French, English-Spanish and English-German. All three modules comprise studying Business English, Financial English, English for Law a.o. as well as the other modern language in general and business context. The cultural aspect is integrated through such courses as Intercultural Communication, Intercultural Business Relations. The business studies are implemented through the courses in economics, management, project management, EU and international market peculiarities. Students will be able to continue education in a Master's degree programme or the second level professional study programme. Advanced competence in foreign languages along with a thorough background in business proves the graduates to be attractive to domestic and international employers. They are qualified to make a career in various professional contexts, for instance, working as translators and interpreters in translation agencies, editors in publishing houses, referents, top management and project managers' assistants as well as in other positions in various branches in state, municipality and private companies and institutions (public relations and marketing companies, media a. o.) ensuring internal and external communication in a foreign language. |
