Study programme descriptionEnvironmental Engineering Science is aimed at finding the most complete answer to the question of how the effects of human activity on the ‘environment can be reduced. This idea is the cornerstone of the Environmental Engineering study programme implemented at RTU. Students develop the ability to assess problems, help state economy solve or mitigate them, also forecast economic development trends within the framework of the European legislation and international agreements.

Doctoral studies (four years) provide compulsory, specialization and elective courses in the sector of electrical engineering and electrical technology. In the second phase of the study process, scientific research within the framework of an individual thesis is carried out.

Graduates can work at Companies, ministries and municipalities that require specialists who will be able to ensure environmentally friendly management, which is the top priority at the European Union.
