|Study programme description||This Masters’ study programme provides a blend of knowledge from electrical and computer science, building upon the solid foundation achieved during Bachelor studies. A growth in the number of computer systems in the manufacturing industry sector worldwide requires that a new generation of highly qualified professionals are required to exploit emerging computer-based technologies and implement these in order to maximize the benefits from power and electrical engineering.
Studies are organised in the form of lectures, seminars, project works and discussion groups.
The RTU is providing students with the professional skills needed to enter a successful career in the field of Computerised control. There is little value in providing a list of prospective career opportunities due to the unavoidable truth that behind every technological device in use today, there is a manufacturing process, control processes, an operational process, and maintenance upgrade process which requires highly qualified personnel that are able to control, maintain and ensure uninterrupted service.
