Study arrangementsDuring studies international students join groups of local students that follow the program in English. This study program is implemented in cooperation with pilot school ERIVA, (Riga, Latvia). Theoretical part of studies is provided by TSI; practical training ir provided by ERIVA.
TSI offers the Latvian language (3 ECTS) course as elective part of study program. Additionally, TSI offers Foundation courses - English, Math, Latvian Language (280 academic hours), that includes Latvian Language course (32 academic hours).
Fees1800 EUR per year (EU residents) +59 000 EUR (flight hours);
2200 EUR per year (Non-EU residents) +59 000 EUR (flight hours).

Study programme descriptionThe aim of the study programme is to obtain the knowledge and skills in Engineering Science, as well as to train applicant to be able to demonstrate a level of proficiency appropriate to the privileges granted for the ATPL(F) in accordance with the requirements of EASA regulations. During study process, the student starts with PPL(A) and and, upon obtaining the necessary flight experience, will continue with CPL(A). After successful completion of CPL(A), continues with ATPL(F).

Studies are organised in the form of lectures, seminars, project work, discussion groups, presentations, internships, practical flight trainings and by visiting corporate partners, as well interaction with experts from the industry. Main study courses include Basic electronics, Electrical engineering, Information technology and Digital technology, Aerodynamics and Flight dynamics, Aircraft design, Avionics and aircraft electrical systems, Aircraft engine design, Navigation, Radar and communications systems, Management of technological process at an aviation enterprise, Flight training.

The graduates of this program are usually employed in different areas of the aviation industry as aircraft maintenance engineers at companies manufacturing aeronautics and aviation systems, engineers at repair facilities and in other areas.

Students in this programme acquire skills in the dynamics of piloting an aircraft, flight training, perception skills, problem solving skills, logic and communication skills.
The graduates of this program are usually employed as a pilots and aviation specialists worldwide. Becoming a pilot, whether commercial or private, is a advantageous challenge for everyone.
