Study programme description | The aim of the programme is designed to ensure the obtaining the research-based academic education of Asian languages and cultures. The programme combines language studies with the corresponding culture and regional studies. The curriculum is divided into four sub-programmes depending on the language chosen by the student: Japanese Culture and Language, Sinology with Chinese and Classical Chinese, Middle East Culture with Arabic or Turkish Languages. There is also a possibility to study the Korean language instead of above mentioned language sub-programmes. The language courses are delivered by native speakers. The bachelor’s programme is targeted on maintaining the continuity of the research work in Asian studies and hence, aims at ensuring the quality of knowledge and skills needed to pursue further professional or academic studies at MA level. Graduates can apply for work at schools and universities, business and culture fields. |
