| Study programme description | The aim of the professional interdisciplinary master's study programme "Socio-technical Systems Modelling" is to offer up-to date master's level knowledge and skills in modelling that may be used to minimise the disproportion in the number between the social and engineering specialists in the national economy and to give an understanding of the human factor's role in engineering sciences.
Study Programme Contents: Discrete-Event Systems Simulation Technologies and Tools; Social Systems Simulation; Research Methodology and Data Processing in SPSS Environment; Introduction to Knowledge Management; Communication and Social Interaction; Business Process Modelling; E-applications Design and Geoinformation Systems; ICTE and Management Development; Introduction to RFID Technologies; Virtual and Augmented Reality Technologies and Tools; Internship - 6 weeks in the first study year. The main objective of the professional interdisciplinary master’s study programme “Sociotechnical Systems Engineering” is to provide the graduates of the study programme with interdisciplinary, mainly technological IKTE knowledge and skills as well as knowledge of the human factor’s role in designing and exploitation of socio-technical systems; the skills that may be used within the competence of their professional qualification in different spheres of national economy. |
