|Study programme description||The doctoral program with a focus on management science is divided into seminars, colloquia and doctoral workshops, inter-evaluations, teaching activities, conference participations and publications as well as the Doctoral Thesis.
In total, the doctoral students complete 11 seminars during the first two academic years. Usually three seminars are offered per semester. Two seminars per semester are offered at the University of Salzburg Business School (SMBS). One seminar per semester is offered at the University of Latvia, Riga. The seminars have a duration of 2 – 3 days. Conference, workshop and examination dates (in Riga) contribute to the quality requirements of the program and round off it.

Accommodation possibilities and costs: The University of Latvia offers university dormitories for all international students. International students are housed in single, double or triple rooms with a common kitchen for every 5 rooms. Linen, blankets and pillows are provided as well as some kitchen utensils. The costs start at 100 EUR per month (more information here).
If you do not wish to stay at a dormitory, it is advisable to make private housing arrangements beforehand.
